Not sure? For a first experience, 1 or 2 hours are enough to get the hang of the quad. If you only do one, the Sidi M'barek and Waterfalls day is the one we recommend without hesitation.
The landscapes you ride through
Dunes and wild beach
Right outside Essaouira, the short packages wind through the dunes and the wild beach: the perfect terrain to get to grips with the quad safely.
Atlantic coast and fishing villages
From 2 hours, the route follows the coast, crosses the dunes and passes wild beaches and fishing villages.
Eucalyptus forest and technical tracks
The 3-hour package adds the eucalyptus forest and more technical tracks, for those looking for real thrills.
Oases and hinterland
The half day goes further, towards the oases, forests and dunes of the hinterland, with a tea break with a local family.
Sidi Kaouki and Sidi M'Barek
The two full-day packages head to the surf village of Sidi Kaouki, one of the most beautiful beaches around Essaouira, or to the waterfalls and valleys of Sidi M'Barek. To know when the waterfall is really flowing, read our Sidi M'Barek guide.

Quad biking in Essaouira: FAQ
How much does a quad bike ride in Essaouira cost?
From 300 Dhs for 1 hour solo (450 Dhs double) to 1,300 Dhs for the full Sidi M'barek and Waterfalls day solo (1,500 Dhs double). In between: 2 hours at 500 Dhs (700 Dhs double), 3 hours at 700 Dhs (900 Dhs), the half day at 900 Dhs (1,000 Dhs) and the day to Sidi Kaouki at 1,000 Dhs (1,300 Dhs). Guide, helmet and insurance are always included.
Do you need a licence to ride a quad in Essaouira?
No, no licence is needed on our routes. A guide rides with you for the whole outing.
What is the minimum age for quad biking?
10 years old, for all packages.
Which package should I choose for a first time?
Express Escape (1 hour) or Coastal Exploration (2 hours): enough to get the hang of the quad and enjoy the dunes and the wild beach without spending the whole day.
What should I wear for a quad ride?
Closed shoes (no flip-flops), sunglasses and a scarf or neck gaiter against sand and wind. The helmet is provided.
Is a meal included in the longer packages?
The Sidi M'barek and Waterfalls day includes a traditional lunch with a local family, and the Nature Immersion half day a tea break with a local family. For the Escape to Sidi Kaouki, lunch is taken on site: ask us for details when you book.
Can I combine quad biking with another activity?
Yes. Quad biking combines easily with the buggy, sandboarding or a sunset horse ride. Send us your dates on WhatsApp and we will put the programme together.
